TYPE: Elegant Provencal estate.
ROOMS: Each of the 15 spacious rooms and suites are decorated in a different 18th century style. Shades of warm colors such as blue, yellow, pink and jade are visible throughout and brightly painted local tiles adorn the spacious bathrooms. The eclectic array of antiques from Europe and abroad work together seamlessly.
POOL/GYM: The hotel has an outdoor pool overlooking the olive groves and the hills of Provence. Guests can relax and sunbathe and enjoy the pool house facilities. In the summer months guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfalls located a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Guests can also attend yoga and pilates classes and use the tennis court.
RESTAURANT: The dining room is run by Executive Chef François Martin who serves local Provencal local cuisine focusing on seasonal ingredients. The menu changes on a daily basis and is a highlight of the stay.
VIBE: Sophisticated and romantic.
BAR: There is no bar on property but guests can request beverages at anytime of the day. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served every night in the foyer at 6:30pm.
SPA: The spa recently opened and incorporates Pure Altitude products into their treatments. Guests can also have a massage by the waterfall or in the new treatment rooms.
WIFI: Complimentary throughout the property.
KIDS: Children are welcome, but the property is better suited for adult guests.
LOCATION: Domaine de la Baume is located in the eastern area of Provence in Tourtour, in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.

Domaine de la Baume is the former home of artist Bernard Buffet and is located in one of France's prettiest villages called Tourtour.
The hotel sits on an 99-acre property with breathtaking views over the Provencal hills and olive groves. Guests can go horseback riding and running on one of the many trials or wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens. The property also produces its own honey and olive oil. The wine sold at the hotel is produced and harvested at their sister property La Bastide de Marie in Menerbes in the Luberon.
Please note that Domaine de la Baume is a seasonal hotel, open from April 18 to November 16, 2014 and December 19, 2014 to January 4, 2015.
