- A Few Things -
Housed within a classic bank building, the hotel blends in with its surrounding. It's not until you cross the dramatic runway into the lobby that you realize that this isn't the Mandarin Oriental you're used to. Though the overall effect is distinctly European, the Mandarin Oriental's signature Asian influence is unmistakably there.
Every rooms are light-filled with hardwood flooring, muted color scheme, and rich with textures. The room design itself is clever and intuitive while at the same time creatively maximizes the space.
If location is everything, you won't find a better location in the city than this luxurious hideaway. Located on Barcelona's most stylish street, Passeig de Gràcia, you're within walking distance to major shopping, but if you're looking to pick up a few last-minute additions to your wardrobe from Manolo Blahnik, Brioni, or Tiffany & Co., you won't have to go to far as they're right on your doorsteps.
