Paris | Pavillon de la Reine
- DETAILS, DETAILS -
TYPE: Well-appointed Parisian residence.
ROOMS: 54 rooms and suites, each featuring a unique decor. Dark tones are accentuated by pops of vibrant color, and some rooms feature rustic exposed beams juxtaposed with contemporary furnishings. Many overlook the central courtyard and garden, which only adds to the intimacy.
POOL/GYM: A small (but perfectly adequate) gym can be found in the spa area. In traditional city hotel style, there is no pool on property.
RESTAURANT: There may not be a proper restaurant onsite, but there is 24/7 room service, and you're welcome to enjoy dinner downstairs in the one of the sitting rooms. That said, one of this property's best features is its location, and the concierge would be happy to recommend a nearby eatery.
BAR: Honor bar in the lobby area, a full selection of wines, spirits, and liquor.
VIBE: Intimate, warm, and cozy.
SPA: With a zenlike atmosphere, two treatment rooms, a jacuzzi, and steam bath, Pavillon de la Reine's spa is cozy and comfortable. A full array of body, face, and wellness treatments are available, including signature Carita rejuvenation treatments.
WIFI: Complimentary throughout.
KIDS: Children are welcomed, and there are designated rooms that can be combined to make family apartments.
LOCATION: The historic Marais, on Paris's Right Bank. A forty-five minute drive from Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG), and less than five kilometers from each of the city's major railway terminals.
- A few things -
The gorgeous Pavillon de la Reine was a former apartment building, and retains every bit of that residential charm during today's operation. Guests are provided with actual keys (no key cards here, folks), and the stunning entrance and central courtyards create an inviting, cosy vibe. Rooms are decorated individually; there's simply nothing cookie-cutter about PDLR.
With an unbeatable location across the street from Paris's oldest planned square, Place des Vosges, and within walking distance of Notre-Dame and other prominent landmarks, this property is the perfect base for exploring Paris's charming neighborhoods, all while living like a local.
