TYPE: Luxury eco-lodge.
ROOMS: Forty rooms and suites, all with gorgeous views over Lake Sarmiento. The raw wood, plush rugs, and clean lines create a simple, cozy feel. Bathrooms are huge, with oversized bathtubs, separate walk-in showers, and L'Occitane amenities.
POOL/GYM: Huge indoor infinity pool with an accompanying outdoor jacuzzi, both with sweeping views of the landscape. No gym, but you're likely to get more than enough exercise during one of the many daily excursions.
RESTAURANT: The restaurant serves an expansive breakfast buffet, as well as lunch and dinner, focusing on Chilean-inspired cuisine with the freshest ingredients.
BAR: The bar is the perfect place to unwind after an active day. Located in the main dining and living area, guests cozying up on a comfy chair with a glass of wine is commonplace. Make sure to try the Chilean specialty Pisco Sour, as well as the Patagonian variant, the Calafate Sour.
VIBE: Secluded luxury with a sense of place.
SPA: Uma Spa offers a wide range of spa and in-room treatments, including massages, facials, and more. Of particular note are the customized deluxe baths, prepared with a variety of soothing ingredients.
EXCURSIONS: You'd be remiss to visit Patagonia and ignore the illustrious nature right at your fingertips. Excursions include hiking, horseback riding, glacier exploration, and other guided tours around Torres del Paine National Park. Guests are free to choose one whole-day or up to half-day excursions each day, providing plenty of opportunity to explore the park.
